Dr. Robert Hopper

With over 30 years of medical experience, Dr. Robert Hopper has been a foremost part of Bearskin Health Clinic. Dr. Hopper received his medical degree from Michigan State University in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. He has served in multiple capacities as an emergency room physician, private practice family care specialist, Chief of Staff, Clinic Director and as an officer with Indian Health Service. He is a decorated Vietnam Veteran who actively participates in local veteran organizations. He enjoys art, writing, antique motorcycles, cars and still finds time to act as a consultant with multiple athletic programs, as a coach and for sports injury evaluations.

Dr. Doug Cox

Doug Cox M.D. is a graduate of University of Oklahoma College of Medicine.  After completing a Family Medicine residency at the University of Tulsa Medical College, Dr. Cox has practiced in Grove, OK. Dr. Cox has practiced both Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine over the last 35 years. He has received many awards including Oklahoma Family Physician of the Year Award (X2), and the Hero of Emergency Medicine Award from the American College of Emergency Physicians. The director of the Grove Emergency Medical Services, Dr. Cox also completed 12 years in the Oklahoma House of Representatives, where he was Chairman of the Appropriations and Budget Subcommittee for Health Care.

He and his wife have 3 grown children and 6 grandchildren.  He enjoys hobbies of playing on Grand Lake and flying his Cessna 172 airplane.

Una McElhany (NP)

Una McElhany was born and raised in southeastern Kansas and graduated from Humboldt High School. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Pittsburg (Kansas) State University in 1996 and a Master of Science in Journalism from the University of Kansas in 1998. Subsequently, she worked in radio, newspaper, television, and public relations for about 8 years. Having also been interested in health care, she returned to Pittsburgh State University and received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2007 and a Master of Science in Nursing in 2010. In 2011 she began providing care as a Nurse Practitioner at Family Health Center of Southern Oklahoma, Tishomingo, and has been employed there for the past 4.5 years. She and her husband have returned to the area to be near family. For pleasure, she enjoys outdoor activities with her husband, movies, visiting with friends and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
